Waldorf educationis an educational system shaped by Rudolf Steiner on the principles of anthroposophy, of which he is also considered the founder. Created in the early 20th century, these educational principles were put into practice with the first Waldorf school established in Stuttgart, Germany in 1919.[1]
It would not be wrong to say that Rudolf Steiner's idea of the art of education lies at the basis of Waldorf Pedagogy. After all, in every kindergarten, in every school, it is the educators and teachers who realize this art of education on time and in place. In every kindergarten, every school, in every country, this art of education has its own unique flavor and style of realization. Circumstances and the tasks of life change from country to country, continent to continent, so that each school community takes on its own unique form. And yet these are Waldorf kindergartens and Waldorf schools because they are influenced and inspired by the same spirit and spiritual unity.
Tin is universal. If experienced by human beings, it becomes individual. But always at the center, despite all differences, is the human being in the making, the child.
